ADDITIONAL FALL TOUR DATES

Los Angeles, CA - August 10, 2009. New Jersey's The Gaslight Anthem have announced additional tour dates for their Fall 2009 North American headline tour, including stops in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Rochester and a second date in Los Angeles.

The Gaslight Anthem have been become one of rock music's most celebrated acts, thanks to their heartfelt soul-inflected rock that distills influences as varied as Tom Petty, The Clash and Otis Redding. Their charismatic live performances have gained them further attention following standout performances at this year's Coachella, Glastonbury, Sasquatch, Lollapalooza and Fuji Rock festivals.

Since the release of of their second full-length, THE '59 SOUND, in August of last year, the band has received accolades from the likes of Pitchfork, National Public Radio, SPIN, The New York Times and Rolling Stone, not to mention critical acclaim overseas from NME, Kerrang!, Exclaim!, VISIONS, Rock Sound, Big Cheese and Q Magazine. The band just won "Best International Newcomer" at the annual Kerrang! Awards, and has graced the covers of Alternative Press, Kerrang! and Rock Sound as well.

Gaslight's headline Fall tour features Murder By Death as direct support, with the tour's lineup rounded out by a rotating group of great artists: The Loved Ones, Jesse Malin, Frank Turner, Broadway Calls, Ninja Gun and The Measure (SA).
