Singer/Songwriter Brett Dennen and New York based Brazilian ex-pats Forro in the Dark collaborated in studio to record new Brazilian flavored versions of hit songs from his 2007 album Hope for the Hopeless and a new track called “Joan of Arc”. The exclusive iTunes Live Session was released yesterday. Forro in the Dark previously recorded with Steve Earle, David Byrne, The Brazilian Girls, and recently Thom Yorke. Also on the EP, Jason Mraz and Brett perform their notable duet "Long Road to Forgiveness."
Beginning Nov.13 Brett will back tour North America, this time with Vermont's Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Brett and band will start in Nashville and head across the country finishing with a home perform at the Fox Theatre in Oakland for a special homecoming New Year's Eve show (12/31). Brett is a true road warrior, he is currently bringing the good vibes to Germany on his European dates.
