“[Here Comes Science] is the genre’s best album of 2009”
- USA Today, December 2009
"They Might Be Giants’ quirk-laden pop still delights.”
- The Onion / AV Club, October 2009
They Might Be Giants, hot off the heels of their widely praised children’s album Here Come Science, have been added to this year’s Bonnaroo Festival. Their appearance at the festival complements what has already been a busy 2010, with a U.S. national tour continuing through mid-March that alternates between family shows focusing on material from the Here Comes kid’s album series, and shows in which the band will perform their renowned album Flood in its entirety to celebrate its 20th anniversary!
In addition to their continuous touring, the band has been busy in the digital world, recently releasing a new video as part of their podcast series, available for free here. The group is also featured in the opening sequence for HBO’s special on alternative families, A Family is a Family, with a song called And Mom and Kid, available for view here.
Released in September 2009, Here Comes Science has received praise across the board for its unique and exciting fusion of rock, education and humor. NPR described the album as one of the best kids' music albums of 2009.
