DEBUT NEW SONG “DEODORANT CAN’T FIX UGLY”
ON REVOLVERMAG.COM TODAY
NEW CD ‘RUINING IT FOR EVERYBODY’ OUT JULY 26
Iwrestledabearonce debuted their new song “Deodorant Can’t Fix Ugly” on Revolver Magazine’s website www.RevolverMag.com today. The song can be heard here: http://www.revolvermag.com/
The group’s new CD Ruining It For Everybody will be released July 26 via Century Media Records. The disc also features the songs “Karate Nipples,” “Next Visible Delicious” and “You Know That Ain’t Them Dogs’ Real Voices” which are available now on iTunes following major fan response to the songs’ online premieres.
Early critical praise for the disc continues to build. In his 9.5 (out of 10) star review of the CD, writer Iann Robinson of CraveOnline.com called Ruining It For Everybody a “contender for Album of the Year.” He continued, “…Iwrestledabearonce have created a shimmering piece of artistic genius…Gloriously shining and seductive female vocals reach for the outer limits while screeching vocals of ugly defiance batter us back into reality. Beautiful piano and electronic sounds are kicked in the shins over and over by thick and brutal riffs...This isn’t just music, this is art, this is an impressionist painting mixed with a work by Dali that’s draped over the hand carved stone statue of a demon all backed by the sounds of angels singing…for those who burn every day with the desire to see heavy music take bold steps forward, I give you Iwrestledabearonce and their maddening genius bottled into a Molotov cocktail of audio complexity...” (July 12, 2011).
Iwrestledabearonce--Krysta Cameron (vocals), Steven Bradley (guitar, keyboard, programming, samples), John Ganey (guitar, keyboard, programming, samples), Mike "Rickshaw" Martin (bass) and Mikey Montgomery (drums)--is current touring North America on The All Stars Tour with Emmure, Alesana, Born Of Osiris, and Bless The Fall through August 27.
