Bluegrass Tribute

I can't get enough of this stuff.

Bluegrass bands covering Metallica, AC/DC, The Shins, Kiss,??? I first heard Iron Horse covering Metallica. Wow. Then I heard about This Van Halen - Strummin' With The Devil thing with David Lee Roth. I can't get enough. Every time I hear them cover a Kiss, Joan Jett even The Shins I can't help but smile. Smiling is good, isn't it?

Am I going soft?

My two favorite songs at this moment both have the the word "love" in their title.
Am I getting old or is this just a fluke?

Either way you should hear Chris Knox - It's Love off the Beat CD and Pop Levi - Never Never Love from the new Never Never Love EP. Both are on Itunes.

Retribution Gospel Choir

Working on...

http://www.myspace.com/retributiongospelchoir

From their myspace page:

Retribution Gospel Choir plays loud and sings in key. Live, two minute pop songs run into psychedelic improvisations and drum-n-bass-heavy dub. People sometimes think the band is too loud or that they should take turns soloing, but generally, people are pleasantly surprised. Members, Alan Sparhawk and Steve Garrington are also in the band Low. The band has released two tour EPs, but they're sold out. New full-length is out now on Caldo Verde Records and the band touring the stinkin' world.
