If you have yet to hear of Under The Elephant, do yourself a favor and look them up. Their First release, The Eleventh Hour EP establishes who they are and what they came to do. From the first song “Dancing”, Lead Singer Josh McMillan captivates you with his soulful voice backed up by Ben Jelen and an energetic piano and electronic touch that makes you truly feel like dancing. “The Beautiful Shuffle” and “Warm and Tender” are beautiful melodies reminiscent to a choir and sounds from the Big Band days. Full of emotion, the songs elegantly combine powerful riffs and electric harmonies that scream out the speakers. Under The Elephant combines the vocal sounds of James Morrison and the energy of Mika, to create an undeniably fun EP, that I highly recommend.
