KCRW at SXSW: Live Broadcasts, 2 Showcases, Showdown at Cedar St and more

KCRW (89.9 FM and KCRW.com) will be broadcasting our signature music show Morning Becomes Eclectic live from Austin on Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19 from Tequila Mockingbird studios with live performances from The Middle East and The xx, respectively. UK indie trio The xx was one of the most critically-acclaimed new bands of 2009 and we’re looking forward to hearing their seductive, R&B and New Wave-influenced songs live. Meanwhile, The Middle East are one of Australia’s most promising bands and we catch them as part of their U.S. debut.

The performances will air live on KCRW and KCRW.com at 11:15am PST. I have limited room for press. If you would like to drop by the studio, contact me in advance.

For the first time ever,
