Saint Motel to support Band of Skulls’ west coast tour
Los Angeles’ own pop/rock phenom.
LA Times
Saint Motel has been generating a substantial amount of buzz throughout the music scene ever since the band released their debut album, ForPlay...
They're my favorite band of 2010. Besides having amazing songs, they add an artistic value to their shows that I haven't seen in a long time.
Nic Adler (Owner, Roxy Theatre),
We watched and danced in flocks, we sweated, we opened up our wounds to Saint Motel's killer beats.
Beth McNamara, LA Record

Saint Motel ( is known for their over-the-top performances and an explosive, psychedelic, indie-pop sound. In the world of Saint Motel, nothing bows to convention: Stages become forests and living rooms, and shows become kaleidoscopic mind explosions in 3D. The band's live shows are marked by this effusive energy and the spectacle of exciting visual soundscapes that blend the sonic with the artful. Their last headline show in LA at The Roxy was sold out weeks in advance and brought out well over 600 costume clad fans fiending for the unique vibe that only a hit of a Saint Motel show can bring. Frontman A/J Jackson explains, “People want to be entertained when they go out to see a show so we try to offer not only an energetic performance but also a memorable experience.” Metromix agrees, stating that “Saint Motel never fail to put on a show that’s a treat for the senses” and The Onion claims “Saint Motel has a...particular blend of wholesome indie rock brimming with raucous sexual energy,” while the Los Angeles Times declares the band “ Los Angeles’ own pop-rock phenom.”
Their music is has been featured on 90210, MTV’s The Hills, VH1 shows, E! News, ABC Family's "Make It Or Break It," the popular THQ video game Saints Row 3, KCRW, and KROQ. The band's keen visual sensibility has yielded an array of stunningly original videos that accompany songs from their debut EP ForPlay, released via the band's record label On The Records and the physical or digital version of ForPlay includes the free added bonus of the beautiful, ultra-conceptualized videos for each song.
