"The Electro album of the year" - Sunday Times Culture

"Kissy knows how to put a thumping sequence of beats together...like a
bizarre cross between The Streets and Lady Sovereign, this album is
nothing if not 11 tracks of pure unashamed fun" -ARTROCKER

"Kissy is a composer who’s managed to massage his well-rounded club
noises into ideal pop ditties. Think Friendly Fires, The Whip, Black Ghosts;
jaunty, bouncy with vocals so catchy..an apt soundtrack for
many kids" - IDJ
Kissy Sell Out is an electro-pop musical prodigy. Initially the new DJ kid on the block, he has earned his reputation by becoming the remixer-du-jour for a smattering of celebrated artists ranging from Mark Ronson, Calvin Harris,Datarock, Chromeo and Dragonette, to Groove Armada and Gwen Stefani and the recent number 1 in the UK and Europe from the Noisettes. After supporting The Prodigy on their mammoth UK arena tour, Kissy Sell Out completed his own sell out British tour and a successfull round of Festival dates with his band -including Glastonbury, The Great Escape, Rockness, Ibiza Rocks and Bestival, -supporting his debut album release "Youth". They made a splash at 2009's SXSW debuting their raucuous live show where everyone from the NY Times to URB and Big Shot came around to take witness.

Now Kissy Sell Out sets his sights on America, but before we get more live performances, Kissy Sell Out has aFriday night party planned for all NY'ers ahead as he takes the decks at Webster Hall on Friday, November 20th! You can be sure he will drop off some of your favorite tunes, tracks you've never heard before and debuting original material from his Youth album!

Big news indeed for this talented maestro and BBC Radio 1’s most coveted DJ, whose unique brand of electro-grunge was initially introduced in 2006 with his debut single “Her” (released on the London-based independent label Lavolta, having been championed by Rough Trade). For Kissy Sell Out, this was the first, most exemplary reflection of how he pulls inspiration from a myriad of musical influences including Nirvana and DJ Hype, to Felix Da Housecat andSWANS, one of Kissy Sell Out’s personal favorites…

Kissy is a man of fervent obsessions of which music is the greatest, and his band will undoubtedly be the most innovate and exciting act to explode out of the UK this year. In the meantime, come catch him on decks at Webster Hall.

"Youth is really personal and I'm so proud of it." - Kissy Sell Out

"...80's influenced synth-pop and Lilly-Allen style observational lyrics...
The driving, distorted riff on Harriet hits specially hard" - Q

"Easygoing stuff that feels like Lilly Allen's debut crossed with FrankMusik" - DJ
